I didn’t read any Wodehouse until adulthood. Can imagine Psmith (the P is silent ?) being a bit of a hero to a young lad. Really enjoyed those books too. Have you read any biographies about him? A very interesting person and really nice guy by all accounts.
I’m not sure, Tim, I know I’ve read more than one, but the only one I’ve written down is ‘PG Wodehouse. A Portrait of a Master’ by David A Jasen. I’ll look out for it.

I found those books to hilarious. I loved Grandma.
It’s a genre I find positively scary! There’s such a fine line between funny and awful. Humour is so subjective.

Me too! My gateway drug was “Mike” (published by Armada in 2 separate paperbacks Mike at Wrykyn and Mike and Psmith) when I was about 10 or 11

Yes, I read several many years ago. Richard Usborne’s Wodehouse At Work is also a great critical appreciation if you don’t know it.
