I can’t say I’ve LOLed non-stop, but anything by Terry Pratchett amuses me to no end. You can find his books on Library Genesis http://gen.lib.rus.ec/ Here you can find free downloadable Epubs or Pdfs.
I was looking her up just now to see if she’s written more and where she is and stuff. And (I don’t know how reliable this is but) the internet tells me that in 2013 her sister committed suicide and that’s largely why she stopped writing for a while. Also said that apparently some time after that she and her boyfriend broke up and he got both of the dogs.
So that’s all kinds of depressing. I wish I could find her and hug her.
Furiously Happy by Jenny Lawson. Seriously a MUST. Get the audiobook because it’s read by her and she’s incredibly funny.
Also if you enjoy crude humor, read anything by Chelsea Handler. Or Tucker Max. Disclaimer on him, though… Don’t read if you’re offended by things. He’s a douche but yeah, his stories are epic and very funny.
I recommend Mamrie Hart as well. I listened to her second book, I’ve Got This Round. Definitely recommend it if you’re a fan of hers 🙂 I’d also recommend books by Jim Gaffigan, like Dad is Fat or Food: A Love Story.
I love doing audiobooks for comedic/funny books so I can get the full effect and voice inflections for certain jokes.
@Rebecca I didn’t know she had another book! Adding to my list!! We’ve definitely thought about doing the thing where you sit in the yard with a ‘you honk, we drink’ sign. I’m not on a busy after though… ?
Anything by David Sedaris on audio. His hysterical stories are even funnier when he reads them aloud. He is a master storyteller. His first and classic Me Talk Pretty One Day must be read first as it introduces David and his very quirky family to readers. https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/4137.Me_Talk_Pretty_One_Day
The ultimate hitchhiker’s guide to the galaxy is by far the funniest book I’ve ever read. I love Douglas Adams humor. Buy the complete trilogy (5 books and one short story actually). There is an intro where he explains how he came up with the idea. It had me laughing out loud on the first couple pages.
Three men in a boat
To Say Nothing of the Dog by Connie Willis
Confederacy Of Dunces
Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy
Catch 22 always kills me
I laughed with One for the Money by Janet Evanovich
The ‘Wilt ‘ series by Tom Sharpe! Laugh out loud funny, especially the first 2 books, but not for those who are easily offended by bad language x
This is where I leave you
So funny – per usual, better than the movie
Red Dwarf – infinity welcomes careful drives and book 2 better than life

I loved Hyperbole….
I was looking her up just now to see if she’s written more and where she is and stuff. Another vote for Three Men in a Boat.
What’s relation between three men in a boat and To Say Nothing about the Dog?
@Sumaiya long name of the book. Three men travel in a boat and they have a dog with them.
In To Say Nothing of the Dog, the characters in that story encounter the characters from Three Men in a Boat briefly.

Hold Me Closer Necromancer by Lish McBride. Gave it (and its sequel) to a friend whose wife banned it from the bedroom because he kept laughing out loud and waking her up. Also has its own fabulous playlist: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/8041873-hold-me-closer-necromancer
