Killing Time by Mark Roberts, @Alexina, because I wrote it and am shamelessly into self promotion lol Double Indemnity by James M Cain great post by yourself
Misery by Stephen King because I feel so sorry for Paul as he endures what he does, and because Annie Wilkes is one of the best characters ever created. How she hates swearing and yet thinks it’s OK to ‘hobble’ a man’s ankle is genius.
Has to be Into The Darkest Corner by Elizabeth Haynes. It was the first true psychological thriller I read. I was so used to police/detective/ pathologist and mysteries. This book changed my reading tastes. For anyone else who enjoyed this book I highly recommend Over My Shoulder by @Patricia.
Sharp Objects by Gillian Flynn. She creates such amazing flawed characters. And I’m always guessing what’s going to come next. She surprises me every time.
Into the Darkest Corner by Elizabeth Haynes. First psychological thriller I read, way back in 2 012!! It got me out of “chick”lit and interested in Crime and psychological thrillers!?

I loved The Poet.
Still a big fan of Red Dragon, Thomas Harris. Just edges Silence of the Lambs for my money.
See Jane Run by Joy Fielding – class.
Sharp Objects by Gillian Flynn. She creates such amazing flawed characters. And I’m always guessing what’s going to come next. She surprises me every time.
I loved this book too. So much in fact that I kept the paperback. I read it about 8 years ago.
