Step 1: Read a book. Step 2: Mourn the book’s ending. Step 3: Try to find another book and fall in love with a completely new set of characters. Step 4: Repeat process.
Brew coffee. Pour coffee. Place coffee beside chair. Sit in chair. Tuck blanket around myself. Refuse to get up for anything besides more coffee or washroom.
I would probably eventually die of starvation (mind you, if Mark Whatney can grow potatoes on the moon I should have a decent chance of learning how to forage….).
Browse library for an hour. Take home more books than I can read. Tea. Snacks – within arms reach. phone on silent. Sofa. Blanket tuck. *Assume position* Seeya in two days matey. ??
*Honors you with more books?* That’s me Everytime I go to the library and my mom rolls her eyes everytime. I actually put my phone on airplane mode instead of silent.
Most of my major reading is done on the weekends but to prepare I run all necessary out of the house errands Friday night so I don’t have to leave the house until Monday morning when I resurface for work. I’m an early riser, so I get all my household chores done by 7am. By 7:30 am Saturday morning I am hunkered down for two full days of non-stop reading. I have a comfy reading change, beverage of choice near by and my weekend TBR selected and ready to go. It’s awesome, I live for my reading weekends!
I don’t watch TV and I don’t socialize so it works perfectly for me. It rejuvenates me for the hectic, stressful work weeks I have. It’s not for everyone but it keeps me sane! LoL!
I keep books on my phone, so I read any chance I get. Dr appts, waiting for food to cook, while the boys play video games. I can escape into a book and visualize it in the first few sentences.
Wake up at 5am , read at work where its quiet, read while my son is napping. Instantly get board once the book is over may blog a bit if its really good

So basically I survival for coffee and books. What would happen if you were left on an island and only have coffee and books?
I would probably eventually die of starvation (mind you, if Mark Whatney can grow potatoes on the moon I should have a decent chance of learning how to forage….).
But even if I die, I die happy.
Assuming I get a blanket too.
You are allowed one blanket and a single comfy pillows. However, you do have a point with Mark Whatney;I think you’ll be fine.

Basically, it’s still space with possibly deadly aliens wanting to take over our bodies and then kill the rest of us
