I had a paperwhite for this very reason last month & love it!

I bought my Paperwhite at Goodwill for $10 and it’s far superior for reading than my Fire is.

I love my kindle oasis

Oasis is worth the price, . . . IF you are a beach, bath, or pool side reader. ?

Priscilla I dont use it for any of those things and still think it’s worth it.

I have a child so it being waterproof is a bonus!

Paperwhite is the better bang for the buck, Oasis is better period.
