That’s so awesome you talked to Ruth Ware!! Darayana, have you read Peter Swanson? I love his books. The Kind Worth Killing and Her Every Fear. A little darker than Ware but similar pacing and tone.
It was a really awesome q&a and she was so great follow our blog we will be having weekly interviews with different authors for at least the next few months

I’m a new author 🙂 my new book Mind Trip can be found at http://www.mind-trip.org/ You may wish to check it out. Mind Trip is a collection of creative thought explorations spanning the period of four years of college attendance, presented with gorgeous artwork that thematically complements the ideas in each clever composition.
I’m not sure if you’re on GoodReads or not – They have Read Alikes Book Lists. I haven’t used those lists as much as this website. I’ve found some new authors that I would otherwise never have discovered on my own. https://www.bookbrowse.com/read-alikes/ [I am not a member but enjoy the 2 author suggestions and subscribe to mailings.]
There is also http://www.literature-map.com/ “The Literature-Map is part of Gnod, the Global Network of Discovery. It is based on Gnooks, Gnod’s literature recommendation system. The more people like an author and another author, the closer together these two authors will move on the Literature-Map.”
fairly new author: Elizabeth Bonesteel. She has a series called “Central Corps” – 3 books out so far. I found out about her earlier this year when I won one of her books in a GoodReads giveaway – and been hooked since. She writes a sort of “military sci-fi” however very enjoyable, great characters with depth and wonderful story lines.
Jo Nesbo – Scandinavian Crime Noir Brent Weeks – fantasy, his Night Angel Trilogy is about an assassin Leigh Bardugo – Fantasy/YA, Six of Crows duology is one of my faves. ?Jim Butcher – Fantasy, ? The Dresden Files (my favorite!!)

Fiction by Wendell Berry is good. No sex scenes, though, a disappointment for many.
