My friend reads a lot of urban fantasy…I read more high fantasy..I also prefer iBooks so that’s another reason I didn’t get into it…it’s simple to cancel if you try it…and you can check out up to 10 books at a time…I love the concept.
i’m thinking about getting Prime for a lot of reasons, but being a reader that would just tip the scales way more in it’s favor, obviously. unfortunately, there is no way to access what books that are on Prime Reading which would be great.
Prime means you are billed $19.99 each month. The books your order each month arrive almost immediately with no shipping charges. Basically that $19.99 bill IS your shipping charge for the month. So if you order a lot of books each month, it’s great. If you don’t, it’s silly. Your call!
@Tabitha I scrolled through the few they recommended and chose a book someone said they read about in here. I haven’t seen anything that I would normally read, but I will browse a little later.
Prime reading means you can checkout one ebook per month from their selection. You return it and can get a new one next month. Also called the lending library
On top of all the free 2-Day shipping and Prime Video and Music stuff, Amazon Prime members get to borrow from a selection of Kindle books for free. It’s a lot like Kindle Unlimited, but more… limited. Lol! Not all Kindle books are eligible, and you don’t “own” the book like you would if you paid for it.
You also get to choose one new release title from their Kindle First program for free.
There are more books to choose from with the Kindle Unlimited program ($9.99 a month, I think).
Prime Reading has been free of you have prime but limited for me on ebooks. It is limited, but gives you access to channels on audible, and select ebooks for free on Amazon.
It is Not Kindle unlimited.
It doesn’t have a special screen or app to direct you to, use a filter to find your free prime ebooks
I have a friend that loves it…but I couldn’t find anything so cancelled mine…get the free 30day and try it…
what types of things do you read and your friend reads? ( i do read a lot of tarot and pagan/occult books myself)

I have prime in general so it’s worth it that way. But if you have to pay for it by itself then no.
Yes, I agree. Unless they’re classics, there’s not a great selection of quality books or even popular books.

I’ll message you a screenshot of what they offer us, k?

This is the second time in hearing of this… What exactly is prime reading? Free books? I have prime through Amazon.

if you do Prime for a year, it includes S&H, streaming, reading, and a few other things for about $100 from what i was reading.
Wow, didn’t know. Prime people don’t explain that on the phone. They should.
