I LOVED this book! I read it when I was stranded in an airport for 12 hours
I’m still recovering from it – the best book ever!
I will definitely need to recover from this one.
I have this book on my TBR with many many other books.
The list just keeps getting longer, huh?
@Natalia Yes, It’s a mile long now LOL!
I have to pause to take deep breaths during parts….
One of my favorites!
Great book
I honestly think it lacked something but it stirred strong feelings within me, and i think for a book club it really is a good book to discuss…
I think you’re right!! I still loved it though
I agree
I loved it!
Omg loved it!! But so sad!!!!
I enjoyed the first part…wasn’t impressed with the latter part of the book.
I can see that! I hated that the love story had to be added.
I had to come to grips with the fact that I wouldn’t love every book our book club chose. However, discussing the book with the members was and always is the best part. You might find reasons to like the book or the author or the writing after all.
I started it but it didn’t grab me.
It didn’t grab me like the nightingale but I still really liked it
I hear really good things. I’ll get back to it 🙂
It was a diffucult read but the story was so good I couldn’t put it down.
Loved it!
Keep at it. It is heart breaking and wonderful all at the same time. It is a little confusing. But not at the end.
Enjoyed.
Loved it.
Loved it. Very tough subject matter but important to read and understand.
Cynthia, you sent me that book. It was spell-binding.
Loved it… it is also based on historical people although it is historical fiction. Caroline’s home is open for tours in CT…a tough subject but worth understanding
We’re reading this month. I’m a little past 100 pages and I don’t want to put it down.
I loved it!! Stick with it!
I finished it because it is popular and I understand the reasons it appeals to readers, but I think it has structural issues and the writing is not the finest.
I loved it. Although some of the parts in the concentration camps are difficult to read.
Oh I’m reading this now but have to take little breaks because I get so angry about the treatment of the girls and feel such disbelief that people thought it acceptable. The cover gives no indication of the horrors that lay beneath.
I loved it
Read it, enjoyed it very much.
