@Leigh She’s very much pulp fiction with an emphasis on beautiful women done wrong by a cruel world. I like her precisely for that reason, but you’re not missing out on anything for not reading her.
I read mainly action books but after murder and mayhem it is always nice to read one of her books it’s like ahhhh there is still love and good in this crazy world we live in!

My Aunt Leah (born 1917) read all her books & belonged to her fan club. She’s get letters from her once in awhile.
