Newer excellent dystopian novels: 1) EXIT WEST (2017) by Moshin Hamid 2) THE SILENCE & THE ROAR (2013) by Nahad Sirees 3) NEVER LET ME GO (2005) by Kazou Ishiguro Insofar as older stuff goes, most of Octavia Butler’s work falls under this umbrella … I’m particularly fond of the parable books & LILITH’S BROOD … THE HANDMAID’S TALE is popular right now (w/good reason) (Margaret Atwood writes lots of dystopian stuff … & poetry) All of these recommendations are the work of women, immigrant, or minority authors.
@YoVon any suggestions?
