Dystopian novels are the dark side of utopian novels, from the root word Utopia, or an idealized, perfect world. It’s the would be perfect world/way of living, standing on its head- with big problems. Like 1984, A Brave New World, The Giver, The Hunger Games, and etc.
Also Station Eleven and Good Morning, Midnight. They’re both dystopian but subtler and beautiful and definitely a different style than the typical dystopian novel.
Actually what’s the meaning of “dystopian” and “paranormal”? Do they mean the same thing? I’ve heard it many times before but never bothered to learn about it:P
I mean dystopian, you can say that the dytopian is like a fantasy world where nothing is good and pleasant, like Hunger games where the people are dying of hunger and government throw them in arena to enjoy seeing them fight each other.
THE DARKEST MINDS BY ALEXANDRA BRACKEN!!! It’s not that popular but it’s an fantastic Dystopian series. I highly recommend it! The first book is being made into a movie which will premiere in 2018. ?
Right now I’m reading a new one called Arcadia. It’s pretty good, fairly modern.
What’s dystopian?

Actually what’s the meaning of “dystopian” and “paranormal”? Do they mean the same thing? I’ve heard it many times before but never bothered to learn about it:P
A book in which the future is shown in it’s corrupt form….I came to know about it after I’d done with two distopian series ?
Is that the meaning of dystopian or paranormal? I asked about both 😉
What does” in its corrupt form” mean?
I mean dystopian, you can say that the dytopian is like a fantasy world where nothing is good and pleasant, like Hunger games where the people are dying of hunger and government throw them in arena to enjoy seeing them fight each other.
