I haven’t read through the other responses, so these might be duplicates:
“The Mists of Avalon” series. “Outlander” by Diana Gabaldon. “Lady of Ashes” series by Christine Trent. The Kent Family Chronicles by John Jakes. The Tudor series by Philippa Gregory.
I really like “just one damned thing after another” and all the books that follow (the series is technically called The Chronicles Of St. Mary’s I think). It’s a mix of time travel/adventure/action/romance, and I’ve had a lot of fun with the series.
@Theresa She is one of my favorite authors. There are 12 books in her Plantagenet Series and they’re best read in chronological order, although they can be read as standalones. I messed up and started with the last one and went backwards! lol
@Theresa I haven’t read any Allison Weir books yet, but am looking for a new author, as I just finished all of Elizabeth Chadwick’s books. Thanks for the suggestion. 🙂
If you like mysteries, Linda Castillo’s “Kate Burkholder” series, David Baldacci’s “Sean King and Michelle Maxwell” series, Kathy Reich’s “Temperance Brennan” series. If you like humor, Janet Evanovich, “Stephanie Plum” series. Historical Fiction, Diana Gabaldon’s “Outlander” series.
Does a book I wrote that fits your genre count? ?
