My favorite adult series!
Another great one!

@Krissy i’ll look for it then
Poldark by Winston Graham
I have the first book, but haven’t read it…is it as good as the tv series? Does it follow closely?
@Cathy the books are miles better. The tv series are fairly good and so a good job considering they have a lot to fit in.
Mistborn trilogy by Brandon Sanderson.
What kind of books do you like, Sydney?
@Kathy sci-fi, historical fiction, horror, romance ans mysteries and thrillers, suspense and romance
I haven’t read through the other responses, so these might be duplicates:
“The Mists of Avalon” series.
“Outlander” by Diana Gabaldon.
“Lady of Ashes” series by Christine Trent.
The Kent Family Chronicles by John Jakes.
The Tudor series by Philippa Gregory.
I’ll second that
Spring Towers series by Morgan Rayne
People are going to start thinking I work for her but honestly – All Souls Trilogy by Deborah Harkness
Red Dragon, The Silence of The Lambs and Hannibal, by Thomas Harris.
Old Man’s War, by John Scalzi
I just finished book one and loved it!
Dresdon Files is a good series im reading now.
Pillars of the Earth
I really like “just one damned thing after another” and all the books that follow (the series is technically called The Chronicles Of St. Mary’s I think). It’s a mix of time travel/adventure/action/romance, and I’ve had a lot of fun with the series.
The Clifton chronicles by Jeffrey Archer. I’ve read the first 3 (of 6) and loved them!
The Hangman’s Daughter Series.
If you like medieval times, The Eleanor of Aquitaine Series and William Marshal Series by Elizabeth Chadwick are amazing!
If you like a little later historical fiction, Philippa Gregory’s Plantagenet Series is excellent!
Philippa Gregory is amazing! I love her book.
@Theresa She is one of my favorite authors. There are 12 books in her Plantagenet Series and they’re best read in chronological order, although they can be read as standalones. I messed up and started with the last one and went backwards! lol
@Kim, I like her and Allison Weir
@Theresa I haven’t read any Allison Weir books yet, but am looking for a new author, as I just finished all of Elizabeth Chadwick’s books. Thanks for the suggestion. 🙂
@Kim you’re very welcome. She does a lot on the war of the Roses, which I love
The Black Dagger Brotherhood
Fallen Angels (has tie ins to BDB above)
Archie Sheridan and Gretchen Lowell
Same! My birthday is in November which is when the new paperbacks would come out, so I would preorder one in May as a birthday present to myself.
What are your favourite genres? Romance, Thriller, Fantasy?
If you like mysteries, Linda Castillo’s “Kate Burkholder” series, David Baldacci’s “Sean King and Michelle Maxwell” series, Kathy Reich’s “Temperance Brennan” series. If you like humor, Janet Evanovich, “Stephanie Plum” series. Historical Fiction, Diana Gabaldon’s “Outlander” series.
Dublin Murder Squad – Tana French
Lonesome Dove series
October Daye series by Seanan McGuire
Following -even though I shouldn’t ??
