I am struggling through The Snowman by Jo Nesbro at the moment. Is it worth continuing?

I struggled with it too, but was glad I persevered
Really enjoyed this book. I thought it was his best.
I gave up on it after 140 pages in
I enjoyed it – different to usual crime books. I’m reading Macbeth, also by Jo Nesbo – interesting take!
Loved it ⛄️??
I really enjoyed it. No struggling involved. Maybe it’s just not for you.
Did you read the earlier books in the series? Sometimes I think that makes a real difference.
Yes. I loved this book.
Definitely
Nobody can tell you. Everyone is different. If you are not enjoying I personally would give up
I really struggled with it too ? it’s put me off reading any others by Nesbo! But other people have raved about it so each to their own ?
@Leoni same here I finished it but I was so confused with all the foreign names
Me too! I just couldn’t keep engaged with the storyline either ?
I loved it
It was the first Nesbo I read and I have gone on to read many more.
I’ve just read it and loved it.
I enjoyed it.
I really struggled with this too. Found it really really slow going but the story was good and did enjoy it at the end.

Yes. It comes together near the end. You’ll be satisfied.
I also struggled and finished it but was not really impressed. I had same experience with another of his book Police.
I loved it!!!!
I loved this book, film not so much. If you are struggling give up, I am sure you have maybe one or two books waiting to be read.
Yes very good
YES, YES, YES. Hey did I say Yes?
I striggled with it but persevered it is worth it
I quit … cant get into Jo Nesbo
Read it years ago. I enjoyed it.
I didn’t like it found it hard work
I can’t read Jo Nesbo books . I quit 3rd chapter
I couldn’t get through it
I gave up. I can’t get on with Jo Nesbo books. ?
Yes, yes, yes! Fantastic scary book with a great ending. Like watching Hitchcock’s Psycho, you are so anxious for everyone.
Did you say you struggle? This is like the best book ever!
I think some of the author’s books can be hit and miss.
Films worse x
It is hard to read but you can finish it just to know who is the killer and why is he killing
@Meri agreed!
Or you can skip to the last chapter & go on to a more worthy book, thus saving time & angst!
Imo, no. I thought it incredibly drawn out and dull personally.
Oh yes… but don’t watch the film
Only saw the film.
I struggled as well, but it was all worth it in the end
Yes good book
I struggled with it but perceived, was glad I did in the end!
I did like the bit where Aled Jones sings, ‘Walking In The Air’ …
I don’t enjoy jo nesbo at all xxx
I love Nesbo books but I had trouble with that one x
I love The Snowman. Fantastic read.
Great book. I had the audio book too. Helps with the names.
i WILL PERSEVERE A LITTLE LONGER X
I have to admit I gave up. I feel you have to like the lead character he was annoying, to much time feeling sorry for himself. Plot too confusing.
I gave up on it twice. Just couldnt get into it.
I liked it just hang in there
Go back to the start of the series… The Batman… Excellent books if a little difficult.
It’s a pretty good book.. The film was a load of crap though.. Similar disappointment when reading Gone Girl, then watching the film..
I liked it but havnt enjoyed other books of his
I’ve read it more than once, so yes, I think it’s a fine book. I have not seen the movie.
