The Dark Days Club is ostensibly a fantasy AR in the Regency period, but the fantasy element takes a back seat to the lavish descriptions of the period. I found the level of detail irritating, as I felt it didn’t help the story, but there is no doubt that the era is incredibly well researched & depicted.
@Saurav I may have spelled the authors name wrong , it makes place in new York 1800’s when teddy Roosevelt was fire inspector and solves child murders, there is a part 2, and the author himself is interesting……
