The Frey & McGray series! I read all of the books in one sitting. Couldn’t put it down.
I liked I am pilgrim
Dead Certain Adam Mitzner
Check out Anne Buist for set in aus and D.S Butler for set in England
anything by Agatha Christie!
I don’t read a ton of mystery but I loved In The Woods by Tana French! Or Into the Woods? I always get the title mixed up haha!
@Sarah I loved into The woods, so good! You should also read Broken Harbor by Tana French that one made me go Coco! ?
I was just about to rec Tana French! She is my fave mystery author. The Likeness is prob my favorite of hers, but I’ve liked all of them. Broken Harbor is like modern gothic set in a suburban housing development, I feel like it doesn’t get enough props for that.
Kenzie and Gennaro series by Dennis Lehane
Broken Harbor, Into The woods, and The Trespasser by Tana French!
I’ll check those out! I think I’l enjoy reading them, thanks?
The Bee Keeper’s Apprentice
The Book Seller.
Louise Penny’s Armand Gamache series…. first one is “Still Life”. Also the Sue Grafton Alphabet series. Or go classic and read any Agatha Cristie! Oh, or Allan Bradley’s Flavia DeLuce series is great too…. (obvi this is my favorite genre☺️)
The Long and Faraway Gone by Lou Berney. Case Histories by Kate Atkinson (I found the sequels to be too depressing for my taste, but ymmv). I like Sophie Hannah’s Zailer and Waterhouse series, although the later books aren’t quite as good.
My Sister’s Grave by Robert Dugoni
The shetland series by Ann Cleeves. Loved them
Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon❤️
Sue Grafton. VI Warshawki series. Jonathan Kellerman. Martha Grimes
I Am Pilgrim. Fast paced and just a really, really good read!
