Making a top 5 or top 10 list is such a hard thing to do I’ve read so many good books but I would place him in my top two and I don’t know who the other one would be…

Brent Weeks is excellent. And if you like Weeks, try Scott Lynch. His “The Lies of Locke Lamora” is excellent, as well as the books that follow.

Scott Lynch is great. I am excited for the next book. The problem I have is it feels like I’ve read everything…

How about the Powder Mage trilogy by Brian McClellan? Or the Divine Cities series by Robert Jackson Bennett? Just two of the series I’ve recently read and enjoyed.

I thoroughly enjoyed the powder Mage trilogy

Sure. City of Stairs is the first, City of Blades the second. They’re interesting. Urban fantasy built on the ruins of an epic fantasy type world. 😀

He’s in my top 5, maybe top 2….he really grew as a writer with the Light bringer series though the Night Angel trilogy was great.
