The blade itself by Joe Abercrombie
@Kane thanks
Je might enjoy the other brent weeks series.
Mistborn is a good series.
Jesse Cole Jennings mistborn is definitely good, but we are dutch en we read the books english. Most of the time that is not a problem but i have read mistborn myself in english and i found it rather complicated?. Maybe if its translated in our native language…
The Wounded Kingdom trilogy (Age of Assassins, Blood of Assassins and King of Assassins) by R. J Barker.
Assassins Apprentice by Robin Hobb. It’s the first book of a trilogy. And there are many more excellent books by her set in the same world. If he happens to like it. ?
@Megan a thats a good advice!
They happen to be my favorite fantasy books. I hope he likes it if he decides to try it. There are a bunch of great suggestions here too.
If he liked night angel then move on to The Light Bringer series. It’s Brent Weeks other series.
I’ve heard amazing things about this series. I’m really looking forward to this one myself.
Light bringer is an amazing series
