First Brown book I’ve read is DIGITAL FORTRESS and it’s really so good I couldn’t put it down. Da Vinci Code is also a good read. I started reading Angels and Demons, I dunno if it’s just me but it’s not as capturing as the first two books I mentioned. Maybe bcoz i watched the movie first.
Read Angels and Demons plenty of times.. Its a book thats always in my bag in case of emergencies ?.. Have read Deception Point and Digital Fortress also..They were good reads.. Da Vinci Code is in my TBR list..
Yup, but you need to have a interet in history and science to make all the connections. His books are not everyone s cup of tea. I enjoyed reading Angel and Demons and Da Vinci Code
I like Dan Brown, and I’ve read almost everything by him. I recommend his work, is it a great piece of literature? No, but they are entertaining and keeps you guessing. A lot of people bash him for his writing style, but he found a formula that works, most of his novel follow the same structure but it works for him and his fan base. So keep in mind Dan Brown is an acquired taste, but his millions followers show he captivates an audience, all these people can’t be wrong.
For a humorous twist, try what one reviewer said was “like an Irish The DaVinci Code.” WE THE WEE. An Odyssey To Know What’s Invisible. by Edward Myles Naylon. [ Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Google PLay, i-books]
I read the one which made all the fuss, The Da Vinci Code. I do not know why I did that to myself, my masochist nature showing I guess. I am a historian, I studied theology too and I had a hard time suspending all the things I have some knowledge of and just flow with the story. Which is weird since I often read fiction that defies all logic. The subject matter might have simply been too familiar to me. If you like mystery books you might like it.
Lol.. As for myself, I find it really bad that I have watched the movie first bcoz my mind constantly go back to the movie while reading instead of having my own image as to what the book is saying..
yes, Da Vinci Code is fun. Angels and Demons is good. Inferno – meh, I think Mr. Brown was phoning it in, coasting on his success. I saw so many basic grammar mistakes and it kinda read more like a travel book than an adventure story. if I was that big of an author, I’d probably relax a bit too, still, I’m not sure I’d get another one of his books.
Digit Fortress was one of my favorites, Deception Point is good. the Robert Langdon series is good but can be repetitive, but i did hate the Lost Symbol book.
Da Vinci code was my favorite. All of his books have the same peculiar style of writing. Totally worth the time. I have the feeling that I visited Vatican, Rome all the places described in his books without being there. People who actually visited could extract more joy of the descriptions and create different perceptions about the historical significance.
I pick up Angels and Demons at Sams club…stopped at furniture to read a page or two just to see if I’d like it and 10 chapters later a store worker asked if I was going to purchase the furniture or the book…
Love Dan Brown, have read all of his books, the only book I didn’t like was titled, “Origin”. It started out good but then down along the road he got all “science-ity” and it went way over my head!…
Read all.id them but the only one I can say I really like is The Da Vinci Code. A case of an author having one great book in them and the rest are only do-so?
He tends to write short fast paced chapters that keep you moving along through the story with a quick pace even while leading you through some pretty complex plot twists involving everything form secret societies to Art History. I’ve read and enjoyed all his stuff. He also goes pretty deep in his work. I was at a talk that he gave and a person asked him a question regarding a secret code that he had built into his book (I think it was the Da Vinci Code). He wouldn’t answer to the crowd, but told the person he’d talk to him after the Q&A period. I still have no idea what they were talking about.
I haven’t read any for a while, but I loved the ones I read. It seems like every chapter ends on a cliffhanger, so you have to turn the page to see what happens and before you know it you’re halfway through the book ?
I’m a die hard Dan Brown fan and I read almost all his books but my favorites are Angels and demons, Da Vinci code, digital fortress and now I’m reading origin
I think he is a terrible writer, contrived , and bad dialogue… I understand the story lines/themed can be interesting but cannot get by his bad writing
i read angels and demons, inferno, the da vinci code and deception point and it’s all good read ???
Yasss! I’ve read the Da Vinci Code. Loved it ?

Angels and Demons is in my top 5 reads ever and my favorite Dan Brown book, Read them all the only one I didn’t like was The Da Vinci Code.
Read Angels and Demons plenty of times.. Its a book thats always in my bag in case of emergencies ?.. Have read Deception Point and Digital Fortress also..They were good reads.. Da Vinci Code is in my TBR list..
In my opinion, this is one of the few times the movies are better, but I’m not a fan of his writing style.
Agreed
@Julia he is a poor writer , I totally agree
I have read inferno and found it awesome
Yes – enjoyed very much.
I do enjoy them.. Angels and Demons was my personal favorite.
Yes I read some, no I didn’t like them. Just not a fan of the way he writes.
Yes all are good
They are OK not worth the hype they got way back when but they are a fun few hours or reading
too long and predictable
i really like Da Vinci Code. I dont often read fiction but that one, was a page turner. I like Angels & demons too
Yup, but you need to have a interet in history and science to make all the connections. His books are not everyone s cup of tea. I enjoyed reading Angel and Demons and Da Vinci Code

Very much. Angels and Demons is better than Da Vinci Code.
Da Vinci code
They aren’t easy. My mom likes them but says you have to be in a specific mood or frame of mind to read them
Have read all of his book, like the combination of the art and the thrill!
Yes love them!!
Read them all. I enjoyed the first two, the others were rather boring. Inferno had potential but the ending ruined it.
Yes I was able to read the digital fortress. And watched the movies the da vinci code and angels and demons
It’s really nice
Yes! All are interesting & entertaining?
I have read them all and enjoyed them very much. The movies are good too.
I like the movies but love the books
I think he peaked at DaVinci Code, which was a great book. it becomes harder to hold back your disbelief in his later books.
I loved the Da Vinci Code.
I like them, but they’re not for everyone.
I love them! They all follow similar formulas so can be predictable, but for me the history and art is so interesting it doesn’t matter ?
you’ll get hooked!
Love them all have read all of his more than once.
I really enjoy them. Robert Langdon is one of my favorite literary characters.

I enjoy his books!
I have read the Da Vinchi Code and I found it awesome.
Just please don’t watch the movie first if u wanna read The Da Vinci Code.. It’ll affect how you think about the book.
When is a book and a movie of the book not different?
I say read book and watch the movie that is BASED on the book have fun seeing which one you like best and why.
Lol.. As for myself, I find it really bad that I have watched the movie first bcoz my mind constantly go back to the movie while reading instead of having my own image as to what the book is saying..
yes, Da Vinci Code is fun.
Angels and Demons is good.

I didn’t like Inferno. It was very bland
Yes. Loved Angels and Demons.
All of them need to read last one
Inferno? I didn’t like that one. A bit boring.
All of them love them
I pick up Angels and Demons at Sams club…stopped at furniture to read a page or two just to see if I’d like it and 10 chapters later a store worker asked if I was going to purchase the furniture or the book…
The Robert Langdon collection is great .
Yeah, I love all of his books. I still want to read Origin, I haven’t had time.
Love Dan Brown!
Hmm. Can I dissent? Rough writing, shallow. Good for the action. fast moving, even for me, too fast moving.
I couldn’t get into his writing
yeah , Inferno & The Davinci Code
Dan Brown’s one-of-a-kind–great mysteries, & his books are steeped in the fascinating history of religions, philosophies, and art!
I only read The Davinci Code, a couple of years ago and didnt like it that much :/
They were great digital fortress was awesome
My favorite by Brown..
Only 1st book
I’ve read all of his books. Origin was the only one that didn’t hold my interest too much .
All of them.
They’re horrible. Every single one of them has a major plot hole.
Most are good reads as long as you dont take them to literally or seriously.
My first Dan Brown book was Da Vinci Code. Haven’t stopped since… Great author.
Read three of his books including the Da Vinci Code. Really good author but not my favorite.
He’s pretty good!!
Love Dan Brown, have read all of his books, the only book I didn’t like was titled, “Origin”. It started out good but then down along the road he got all “science-ity” and it went way over my head!…
Their all good, highly recommend
I’ve read quite a few of them. The Robert Langdon ones were interesting, but I also really liked the stand alone books with female protagonists.
Have read Origin, Inferno, Da Vinci Code etc. Good writer great books.
I agree, really enjoyed all his books.
Read all.id them but the only one I can say I really like is The Da Vinci Code. A case of an author having one great book in them and the rest are only do-so?
love them
I read 2. Angels and Demons and The Last Symbol. I love it.
Love The Da Vinci code and Angels and Demon. The rest, particularly the ones after The Da Vinci Code, were kind of okay
Don’t like them
Liked Angels and Demons, and Da Vinci Code, and Digital Fortress, but the rest of them were very Meh.
His latest origin is so great!
Brilliant reads
love his books, amazing thrillers, keep you on the edge of your seat, I could’t put them down. i have them all

My favorite is “Angels and Demons “
Love them
Love them…just got Origin.
I really enjoyed Angels and Demons.
Agreed. They are well written. Except for the last one because I haven’t had a chance to read yet.
Great
I haven’t read any for a while, but I loved the ones I read. It seems like every chapter ends on a cliffhanger, so you have to turn the page to see what happens and before you know it you’re halfway through the book ?
those cliffhangers kills me when I have to stick to another day to read the next chapter?
I experienced sleeping 4am bcoz of those cliffhangers.. Lol.. And I even felt bad putting it down just to sleep. Digital Fortress..
reading the deception point…. it is interesting. You should read it.
I think I have read them all.
I’m a die hard Dan Brown fan and I read almost all his books but my favorites are Angels and demons, Da Vinci code, digital fortress and now I’m reading origin
I liked them all so far except Digital Fortress, which I thought was corny.
Absolutely loved The DaVinci Code and Angels and Demons
I enjoy them. I love his older stuff.
Did not enjoy his last one. Found it hard to get through. Not very interesting. The rest are amazing though.
Awesome!
Love em
I tried Da Vinci Code few times and wasn’t able to finish it but I want to read Angels and Demons
All of them, Da Vinci Code is the best
Liked The Da Vinci Code and Angels and Demons – figured out who dunnit before I finished both books
I love love love love him!!! His books are worth the read. That’s what got me addicted to reading
I think he is a terrible writer, contrived , and bad dialogue… I understand the story lines/themed can be interesting but cannot get by his bad writing
Yes, love the books!!!
