I haven’t seen the movie yet but when it comes to books Wrinkle in Time was first published in 1960 and Never Ending Story in 1979 so it might actually be the other way round with taking inspiration
A Wrinkle in Time, A Wind in the Door, A Swiftly Tilting Planet, Many Waters, An Acceptable Time You can read A Wrinkle in Time as a lone book if you prefer. Some people focus on the first three and ignore the last two but I think they’re missing out.
I’ve read most of it but haven’t finished it yet, but I really enjoy it. My sister has read all of it and she loved it.
Repeatedly. As well as the entire series.
Not yet but I’ve been thinking about it.
I have, but it’s been SO long… it’s on my re-read list ?❤️
Love it!!
Oh, yes! My first foray into sci-fi reading as a kid. It was one of the books I would reread every year.
Reading it now.
Excellent
I saw the movie and asa kid opened the book but never read it sadly
Yes, really want to see the movie now
No, but I just watched the horrible movie…such a rip-off of NeverEnding Story and Inkheart!!!

I love the book so much I was afraid to see the movie
@Sally I have not read the book, so I am not sure if the movie is different.

Both of those were written after. Wrinkle in time. My mother gave me an old battered copy as a child, and I’m in my 30s now.
The movie was pretty horrid though… I will give you that. 😉
Love Neverending story
My very favorite book as a kid!!
