Depends on how much down time you have. When I go up North I bring at least 3 super thick ones, and I always end up picking up more when I run out. If you read fast bring more, but remember that’s things you have to carry around
I read at night, and the drive, so I figure a book there, a book home, a book for the week, an extra in case. Usually I bring 2 regular books and three on my Kindle. Then, I have options. 🙂
Enough so I could sit in the car reading the whole time we were there, and only have to leave to pee and get coffee. If I slept in the tent, it would have to have one of those little camping potties. I HATE camping!! The last time we camped we were at Yellowstone, and we had a brief visit to our site from a bear! And I don’t think he stopped in looking for books!!? (I sucked it up when my kids were little, but now? No frickin’ way!!)
Personally, I would camp in the study with my books ☺️. But if you must go, you need something for those nights when you just can’t sleep, or for when the weather turns rough. I would say at least 3 decent length books. And a fully-charged Kindle.
5 at least.?
2 for the week
One — in case it rains. Enjoy the outdoors.
3? When I go on vacation, I usually bring 3 but end up only reading 2 but I like a choice.
Take at least 3, then you have a choice!

Plenty
Loads. Camping is boring.
As many that would fit in the camper!

My plan is to finish Game of Thrones. I am on book 4 right now. ?
Between 4 of us we used 20kg of our holiday flight allowance on books last year.
Three is a good number, I think. That way you can swap between them if you want to.
For a three night camp trip, I brought 12 books! LoL
7 in case I become finicky
