I used to take a couple for different moods (one lighter one for the distracting airport, one needing more focus for the hotel), but now with kindle on my phone, usually just one for the plane and airport. Don’t like to use up much battery in case of emergency.
Depends on where I am in the book, how long the book is and how long the trip. Usually 2, and my Kindle for emergency. I have bought books on the road when I was in the middle of the Divergent series.
@JoAnn hahaha! Don’t get to them all. I take more than I know I’ll need in different genres so I can pick something I’m in the mood for when I finish one. Usually only read about 2-3
If I’m going for my annual visit to see family, then only 2 books for a week would be enough. If I’m going somewhere to actually relax, like the beach or something, I would need 5 books for a week. I refuse to read on a Kindle, because I associate screen time with work, not pleasure.
I usually carry just one, but never manage to read it through ?. Though I love to read, I love watching & observing things when I’m on vacation, not just nature but also people and life around me, I want to miss nothing. I just can’t read when on holiday, I might read on the aircraft if I’m flying, but that’s it Reading can wait til I get home ?.
