Unf*ck Yourself by Gary John Bishop literally changed my life. Audio was fun as he has a Scottish accent.

If weight loss books worked, I would be thin. If fitness books worked, I would be fit and healthy. If all the self help books that I have read worked, I would be rich, thin, healthy, calm, a wonderful leader, successful business owner, incredible parent and spouse, and be able to repair motorcycles.

Read these all the time as it massively helps in the work context as well as outside.

I reckon even if you retain (and – the hard part – embed and implement) just 5-10% of useful learnings, its a worthwhile endeavour.

My recent favourites are:
– Give and Take Adam Grant
– Option B Sheryl Sandberg
– On Managing Yourself Harvard Business Review
– The Examined Life – how we lose and find ourselves Stephen Grosz
– Predictable Irrationality Dan Ariely
– Blink Malcolm Gladwell
– The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People Simon Covey
– Mindset Carol Dweck
– Just Listen Mark Goulston

Love them personally & professionally! They get addictive. 🙂 But then, it’s also my job to read them for continuous development as I work full time as a Coach!
