Thankyou. With my limited amount of time and my jouney with Patrick Roffuss coming to an end soon, im looking for anotheer series to take up my time. Any recommendations are good, but this caught my eye alittle,
@Lacie Finished the last of the farseer trilogy a while back. having a break before i return to another hobb trilogy and i believe i have seven isles book in my book case somewhere.
Earthsea is a fantastic read and NOTW has a few similarities to it (naming, a school). Book 2 isn’t one I would ever re-read, but the ending of book 3 was pretty cool. They are short and pretty easy to get through though I still haven’t gotten to 4 and 5.
I have they were good. A newsy of writing style for me.

Have you read Robin Hobb? Or David A. Wells? Both good and longer series.

Reviews don’t look too promising…
It is actually good
Cool, thanks!
Ursula Le Guin wasnt a fan of it. Still might be good though.

Following!
My first ever fantasy books. I loved them and still go back to them every few years!!
Yes! Great books; beautiful prose, memorable characters, they are thought provoking and last but not least, they have dragons.
I watched the miniseries and hated so didnt attempt the books
Yes, I’ve read the first four. They are so very good! A good read for children, and an even better read for adults (or when re-read as an adult).
