This totally makes sense but I do the opposite. I intersperse new reads between authors I know I like so that I don’t run the risk of getting a huge run of books I don’t like and then getting into a funk. Everyone reads differently!
I try but then I end up needing a break from the one author to another one. I have only read all of the books by 2 authors but have been working on like 6 other authors and am getting close to finishing books by 2 of them.
I’ve only done that twice in my life. First when i read all of Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes stories and then some other short stories of his, and then when i binge read The Millennium trilogy. But i usually don’t read two books by the same author one right after the other.
Some times. I like to at least binge a series if I can. Although, sometimes I have to take a break from them because I get tired of the same genre if they are too long.
Yup! I tackle a series one by one before moving on. Did it withSue Grafton, Allan Bradley, Agatha Christie, and now I’m nearly done w Louise Penny…. I love being immersed in a fictional world for as long as possible…!!
I do!!!

Sometimes – but it’s not that often to be honest.

I tend to want to, but I don’t want to confuse books by the same author.

Yes. Especially authors who keep to a similar vibe throughout their books such as David Nicholls.
Yes! I also just like reading all of an authors books back to back regardless if a movie is coming out or not

Yes!!!
Only if it is a series! Otherwise I try to mix it up a little!
depends on how much I like the author:)
i can’t do that, i can’t even do series if they’re more than like three books. i get bored.
Nope. I can read 2 or 3 in a row, then I must move to another author for a bit.

Yes! I buy them on my Kindle immediately.
