Not really no. There may be a few references here and there to events which took place in another book but nothing that would keep you from enjoying them out of order.
I think all books should really be read in the order they are written. Characters grow and change. The sequence of events doesn’t necessarily matter in itself but as a progression of a character I personally think it does. Much like life. If you experienced something now as opposed to 20 years ago how much would your response be different? And the author becomes more comfortable with the character surely. This is why I love series of books. The chance to see those characters build and swell to become literary entities. To mean more than the story itself sometimes. Because without that character there would be no story.
it’s easier to read in order, as it makes minor references to the proceeding book and some changes and growth of characters. but doesn’t required to be
Shrug. I didn’t read them in order and it didn’t bother me

Nope
Not really
I don’t think it’s necessary. He seldom refers to past events from other books and the references are of no consequence. But I liked them in order.
Should you read them at all?! The helicopter madness in Angels and Demons turned me off for life.
I think the series got better after that. Wasn’t Angels the Demons the first? I think hands down the best, at least in my opinion, book is Inferno.
? another vote for Inferno
Wow I loved Angels and Demons. Different strokes for different folks I guess
Just read “Angels and Demons” and “The Da Vinci Code” – every thing after those two are crap
Yes.
No, not really. I didn’t.
not necessarily
No, not necessarily. Read and enjoy them as you wish 🙂
