Take meds and wait to see what happens. I just live with the bad and good days. Not really much you can do. Live one day at a time. I hate the fatigue the most.
@Rose I read mainly. I do a little crafting. That can be harder because of my hands. Reading gives me an escape and I feel like it keeps me sharp. It’s much better than watching television.
Stephanie I have bad hand days as well. I use cold water and I have special gloves my dr gave me. I used to drop things and couldn’t get a grip on things. I went to rehab and that helped a lot. It keeps me from getting stiff. I hate getting stiff, so I move as much as I can even if it hurts.
Dog ear the crap out of my books! Learned from my dad, we are both huge readers. But now I only get ebooks, except for cookbooks. Which I look at cookbooks as a journal and I write all over them because I am obsessed with cooking and note my changes and whether we liked a recipe and which ones we want to try. While we treasure the books we have they are also well used.
I have a cookbook that is 15 years old and it has writing all over in it, stains, sticky notes. For me it’s a journal of how much we loved that particular book, our favorite recipes are in it. If over used cookbooks are the legacy I leave, I’m ok with that.
Dog ear. I have too many kids too worry about them messing with my bookmarks and losing my page. Well to be honest I’ve dog eared since I was a kid but that’s also because I also lost my page by accidentally removing the bookmark ??♀️ it’s a kid thing ???
It depends on the situation some times I have two books and only one bookmark or if I want to save a page to quote from I dog ear ? but only if it’s my book! But now I have your bookmark so I have 2.
I highlight in books I own… also I write in the front when I read it. Sometimes I forget that I’ve read a book and get 100 pages in before I remember it. ?
Both …I also write in my books, horrible I know lol. Haha but it’s been so nice to be so connected to a book and to make that book mine… I absolutely love it. Plus dog tagging for me is also a way for me to remember Parts I loved.
Bookmark!!! Dog ears are for monsters!

Neither, I always know what page I left on.
That’s amazing.
I’ve always been that way. I have a good memory. It was better till I had two back to back concussions.
@Rose I can’t remember my breakfast this morning… but I take chemo so…..lol
@Rose for rheumatoid arthritis not cancer.
That mind fog? I feel you. I have neuropathy and fibromyalgia plus diabetes and Lupus. Lol
I’m glad it’s not cancer.
@Rose horrible brain fog plus the meds. I have fibro also. The Ritaxuan and methotrexate are horrible for my memory.
@Rose me too. I had melanoma when I was around 21.

@Rose yes
@Rose caught it early. It was scary but wasn’t bad.
What do you take for your lupus my sister and one of my bestie has it.

@Rose same. Fatigue is a killer. I have a lot of reading time now. Lol
@Stephanie For real. I do crafts, graphic art and read. Do fractals, just to keep my mind off of things. I occasionally edit books for a few authors.

@Rose I have some gloves but they are compression what are yours?
They are black with velcro. It helps my hands. I sleep with them at night.
@Rose I have some with velcro and I have grey fitted ones. They do help sometimes.
Yes they do.
Book mark! Dog ears hurt my books.
