I read them before they even hit the book stores in America!!!’ Saw all three Swedish films, then the American from from the first book. Lisbeth was the greatest- freshest character to come out in a series in a long time.
Loved them! It does take a bit to get into them because of the Swedish names, but totally worth it. There is the fourth book, which @Adrianne told me about. Article is on http://theguardian.com/
The first book spends a lot of time on family history and I found that tedious. once I was beyond that the rest of the trilogy was full of intrigue and so well written
Books were great. I was sad the author died before writing more. Truly amazing that they were translated from swedish. Gave I An informative view of Swedish life and culture
I just couldn’t get into them
Very gripping as the other two books in the trilogy
Very good. I thoroughly enjoyed them
I read the first 2 and loved them but ended up giving up half c way through the 3rd. Too many people and places and got confused and lost interest!
I loved everyone of them. They are not my usual read however I couldn’t put them down.
Fantastic! Definitely worth a read 🙂
Thanks guys xx
They’re incredible – loved them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Also enjoyed all three, but could have skipped the first 100 or so pages that was suppose to set the scene. I nearly gave up. But glad I didn’t.
Great read. Must read in order
Great trilogy. Stick with them as very gripping!
Fantastic!
Reading the 1st one now. The beginning was a little slow but it’s getting better.
@Jennifer, that’s what I referred to. I didn’t think I gained anything from the financial background.
Brilliant series of books. Shame author has died. He writes a good story. Do watch the dvd’s after reading the books not before.
Amazing. A must read.
I’ve have and they’re hard reading but really worth it! 🙂
Really great. Slow at the beginning but worth it…..
Read all three they are fab. Really enjoyable.
Fabulous – all of them
They are great. Raunchy at times, but great. I couldn’t put them down.
Totally agree with you @Marilyn. First bit so boring then gripping story.

Brilliant and so r the films x
Agreed, read the books then watch the subtitled Swedish movies. I think they are better than the American version though I do like Daniel Craig.
All great
Hated it. Didn’t want to finish. I don’t appreciate rape scenes just for the sake of a rape scene.
Wonderful books!!! Takes some getting used to the Swedish names. So sad he only lived to write 3 books
Although Stieg Larsson did leave about three quarters of a fourth novel on his computer, as well as synopses for the fifth and sixth in the series.
Read the first, looking forward to the other two, brilliant!
Excellent but they can be a little challenging X
Okay thanks going to look forward to reading them xx
Brilliant
I read ALL 3 of them in 10 days EXCELLENT!!
Got me back reading again!
