When you’re finished with the series there is Oblivion in Daemons pov. If you buy the paperback copy it’s only the first book. But the kindle version is all the books in his POV.
The classic ‘Childhood’s End’ by Arthur C. Clarke is a good one. It was my very first sci-fi book that I read and became hooked on the genre. It’s where the term ‘overlord’ comes from. 🙂
I am so glad you named this book, it is not really that known but I have a copy and yes it is very engaging. The aliens resemble elephants but with tentacle like trunks.
