Oh, and just in case you didn’t know…Mercedes Lackey has many more trilogies set in the “Companions” universe….it’s one of my favorite alternate universes!!
Working Stiff by Dr. Judy Melinek is an excellent book about forensics. If you like sci-fi and romance, my friend has been going on and on about Gabriel’s Ghost (haven’t read it yet myself). Watchers by Dean Koontz is great if you like paranormal thrillers. Recent favorites in Sci-fi are Kindred and The Moon is a Harsh Mistress. I’m currently reading The Long Way to a Small Angry Planet, and I’m really enjoying the characters.
You’ve come to the right page ; Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein John Tayman, The Colony Truman Capote, In Cold Blood Jason Porath’s Rejected Princesses Betty Freidan, The Feminine Mystique. The Chronicles of Narnia Neal Stevenson, Seveneves John McCain, Thirteen Soldiers Daniel Defoe, Moll Flanders Azar Nafisi, Reading Lolita in Tehran Jenna Miscavige Hill, Beyond Belief
The Fionavar tapestry trilogy by Guy Gavriel Kay, the Farseer trilogy, Liveship traders trilogy, the Twany man trilogy and the Rain Wild chronicles by Robyn Hobb
The Hypnotist, The Nightmare, The Fire Witness, The Sandman, Stalker (Joona Linna Series by Lars Kepler)
Dissolution, Dark Fire, Sovereign, Revelation, Heartstone, Lamentation (Matthew Shardlake Series by C J Sansom)
The Strange Affair of Spring Heeled Jack, The Curious Case of the Clockwork Man, The Expedition to the Mountains of the Moon, The Secret of Abdu El Yezdi, The Return of the Discontinued Man, The Rise of the Automated Aristocrats (Burton & Swinburne Series by Mark Hodder)
Books by Tracy Chevalier are excellent. Every Book is different to the last. I love Cecilia Ahern for her totally different take on love. Minette Walters and Jeffrey Deaver for psychological thrillers.
