I’ve read it @Lorna. Found it interesting, sometimes a bit drawn out but I do like WW2 books so for me it was good. Not as good as The Nightingale though. Enjoy reading it.
Not the worst book I have read but totally overrated and hyped up too much. Could have been done in 200 less pages with a lot less rambling and boring narrative.
I thought it was a brilliant book!
It was good, but a bit boring at times.
Didn’t understand all the hype tbh
Loved it. But war fiction is my preferred reading.
It was good but it was long and could of been shorter. At times it dragged but overall it was good.
Loved it!

??
Found it extremely over-hyped. Enjoyable enough but plot was a bit forced, and characters were not given enough depth.
I thought it’s good but also over-hyped.
Ooo what a mix of opinions! I have this to read soon ish and I’m hoping I’m one of the ones who loved it. But if not, then at least I gave it a go ?.
