I couldn’t get thru it either. Gave up on it half thru. There are too many good books to bother with ones I don’t like. I hated, yes HATED, The Shack, too.
I’m glad I’m not the only one who didn’t like, The Shack.
I struggled. I’m not really a fan of historical fiction. But the story was good.
I love historical fiction but I found it boring.

I struggled in the beginning but it picked up later for me. I ended up loving it. One of my favorite reads.

It’s slow and boring! Ending wasn’t worth all the tedious stuff I had to wade through.

Was really looking forward to reading it… Found it tedious and couldn’t engage with it at all. V rarely give up on a book but only managed a quarter!

This was a weird book for me. I thought it was beautifully written but at the same time had a tough time getting through it.

This book seems to divide opinions. I thought that this was one that I would really like and it was to a point. But yeah it was a bit of a hard one to get through. Not a disappointment then but I was not overwhelmed either.
It took me 3 separate attempts to read it and finally finish it.
