OR. OR OR. if it IS romance, i’d be into ones where either the GIRL is the werewolf, or they’re BOTH werewolves. or any kind of queer werewolves, if that exists.
Kell Nelson not the main main characters but there’s queer werewolves later in Gail Carriger’s Soulless series and I believe that couple star in one of her spinoff Romance novellas (Romancing the Werewolf). I mean they’re in the whole Soulless series but their relationship starts in the last book.
Not the MC, but there’s a gay werewolf in the Mercy Thompson books. And the MCs are not exactly all werewolves, but her love interests are werewolves and she’s a coyote shifter, so close?
The Wolf’s Hour by Robert McCammon was really interesting.
The Silvered by Tanya Huff. There’s a little romance but it’s not a major component of the plot.
@Kylie i like Tanya Huff, but i had never seen anyone mention her at all.

The Wolf Gift from Anne Rice is not all that romantic
Those Across the River is a good horror. And I haven’t read Mongrels yet but Stephen Graham Jones is a helluva writer.
Red Moon by Ben Percy!
Cycle of the Werewolf, Stephen King
A classic 🙂
