Yes! I’m reading her a court of Thornes and roses series right now and I serious wish there was more hours in a day so I could read more lol. Im on the second book! There’s 3. Then she has the a Thornes of glass series which I haven’t read yet but is very good. The reminent chronicles is on my TBR list but I’ve heard it’s really good.
True blood series Author..Charlaine Harris — The mortal instruments The infernal devices The shadow hunters codex The bane chronicles Author Cassandra Clare — Eragon Inheritance Eldest Brisngr Author…Christopher Paolini — Torment Fallen Passion Rapture Fallen in love Author…Lauren Kate
Supernatural, Paranormal, Vampires and Werewolves (wolves, lions, tigers etc…) and the Fey!
The Dresden Files- by Jim Butcher (Wizards, vampires, werewolves, Valkyrie, the Fey) not a real lot of romance, but some “star crossed,” “lost” and “forbidden” loves – BUT- “Sex & Romance” are not the main storyline.)
The Iron Druid- by Kevin Hearne (Druids, vampires, werewolves, the Fey, and Norse, Irish, Native American, Indian, Japanese, Greek and Roman, pantheons) Mostly “unrequited love” that eventually gets “requited”? Cute “lookin for love” storyline with Oberon, the telepathic dog!
Both the Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter series and The Princess Merry( mortal Princess of the Fey) series by Laurel K. Hamilton (Vampires, Werewolves, Were tigers, were leopards, other weres, and the Fey) Although Anita starts slowly, virtually no sex in the first couple of books, but then things keep getting wilder and wilder! Both series have lots and lots of SEX! – not real big on plotlines, but they do have some, but it is a lot of sex (I think I already mentioned that??) Both of the main characters of the series’s have a similar problem. “Oh, no! I just inadvertently happened to have to have wild, fantastic sex with unbelievably gorgeous men! Whatever will I do?”
Faith Hunter also has two series that fit this category. The Jane Yellowrock, Vampire hunter, series and her Nell Ingram (?) Soulwood series. (Shape shifters, vampires, were wolves and were cats) mostly “unrequited love.”
Patricia Briggs has two series, shared fictional “world” with different, overlapping characters between. (Coyote shape shifter, Vampires, Werewolves, the Fey) Mercy Thompson series, some discreet sex, & romance. Alpha & Omega series, some discreet sex & romance also, (I think that Anna and Charles are more of a romance, but they both have a fair amount)
Seannan McGuire October Daye series, (primarily about the Fey – full blooded and changelings.) Lost love, rediscovered first love, lost love, newly recognized love…, Mostly romance- the sex is very discreet. And her “Incripted” series follows the siblings in the Price family, “normal” people, who have taken on the responsibility of protecting and preserving, (if possible) supernatural and paranormal creatures ( Succubui, talking, intelligent mice and so forth) any romance is secondary, not really the focal. point.
Carrie Vaughn’s Kitty, the Werewolf series. (Werewolves, Vampires, ghosts) More “relationships” than sexy romance. “Unrequited” love triangles with Kitty. (At least “what might have beens”)
Tayna Huff Her Vicky Nelson / Henry Fitzroy Urban Fantasy series Mostly vampires. The bastard son of Henry the 8th is drawn to the former Toronto policewoman with failing eyesight who sets up as a paranormal investigator. And her Quarters series. Set in a fantasy world, some people are gifted with the ability to direct the kigh- elemental spirits (Elemental spirits- earth, air, fire, water, and soul?, Gifted people, a lost soul sharing a body, a soul stealer, the soulless- Zombies almost)
I could go on, because I keep thinking of more, but I’ll stop here.
I hope you like some of my suggestions, I now have more names on my “check these authors out” list!??

Mortal Instruments series is the main one I have heard good things about but there are a lot of other good ones out there. I have not read the following but heard a lot of good reviews about them – Vampire Academy. I personally am more of an Anne Rice fan though. You also got the True Blood series.
Sara Wellington Thanks Sarah, it’s about a Vampire who swaps life’s with a human, it’s written from both characters perspectives but it tackles a lot of issues such as social acceptance. It has lots of humour also to break up the serious parts 🙂
