Me. But? I haven’t written a sentence. So? I guess that’s sort of hard. But, I still think I am . . . until I’ve gained a log cabin and gone and put some writ to page.
Yes. He wrote the Strain which is a scary book but MY GOD it kept me on the edge of my seat. I was so intrigued. He helped write Shape of Water which is a movie that is coming out in the next few weeks. It is a i think 50s science fiction about a girl who falls in love with a monster. New twist on Frankenstein in my opinion
I do remember that book the Strain… I guess I didnt know he wrote it…not really my genre..but I will definitely give it a try. Thanks for all the great info!
Your welcome. I think he co writes with authors because it is always him and someone else. I never understood that but the books have been great. Strain is very scary but I dont think Shape of Water will be.
Alex Kava? She writes about Maggie O’Dell . . .i love her . . . I don’t like the way she constantly describes a person’s attire . . .but? thats my only bitch . .. 😉
I mostly like thriller suspense, crime fiction. Love detective FBI murder stuff. Good characters to. I like some Dean Koontz and a few Stephen King books. Koontz has a nice Jane Hawk series out. Waiting for book 3 in May.
I do like vampire fiction and found Frost to be a good author. If you can deal with a few steamy scenes her series is otherwise really good. Witty kick butt characters. Makes me laugh and just good stories.
@Judy I reread Death of Santini last month and legit cried because he won’t be writing any more books and he had an inestimable impact on my life. I always wanted to meet him at a signing and tell him that; now I never will.
Jonathan Carroll especially in the UK, he’s more well known in the US. One of the best realism fantasy authors who Neil Gaiman says helps inspired his work & who he’s great friends with!x

Took me a while to think of someone who was great, but not well-recognized. Here’s my choice: Elizabeth Willey https://www.goodreads.com/author/show/182492.Elizabeth_Willey
