It’s actually the first of its kind .. they thought it was pretty ballsy for Capote because up till that time no one ever dared write such a book , I’ve read it a few times
1 by leslie thomas, cant remember title, as not really my gene, but my hubby used to b security gaurd and when his dad got ill i used to go up and cover for couple of hours (no security gaurd) so he could take his mum to hospital, it was only thing to stop boredom
It’s more a book about criminal profiling in Britain and when the police first started using it with varying degrees of success (like the Rachel Nickell murder on Wimbledon Common) so it’s true crime with a real investigative slant. I read it many years ago – I hope it’s still available to buy
“In Cold Blood” by Truman Capote (1966)

The Bible 2: Electric Boogaloo
Deliver us from Evil by David A. Yallop, an excellent book about Peter Sutcliffe, the infamous brutal and deranged Yorkshire Ripper and the awful police incompetence, as the first victims were “only” prostitutes, . https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2018/feb/12/yorkshire-ripper-peter-sutcliffe-wont-face-new-charges-police-say
