What’s your favorite book from a genre you don’t typically read? What’s your favorite book from a genre you don’t typically read? Kelsey #questionnaire
I’m reading The Illuminae Files (Obsidio) and really enjoying it even though Sci-fi isn’t my normal genre. Makes me want to read more of them! ?
City of Saints & Thieves by Natalie C. Anderson.
LOVE LOVE LOVE, The Song of Achilles!!!!! I would have NEVER picked up Greek Mythology if the woman at the library hadn’t practically shoved it at me and INSISTED I read it!!!! SO glad she did. Just bought Circe and Silence of the Girls and CANNOT WAIT to read them!!!!
I’ve heard that ones wonderful! Not my usual genre either but may have to pick it up!
@Kelsey I cannot WAIT to see what you think!!!
The night circus, magic usually not my type but this was a very good book

@Jade I read them all as an adult and loved them.
@Karen what did you think about Fangs book!? Did you like seeing things from his perspective?
@Jade I liked it, but not as the first ones in the series. Did you read the two books preceding the series. When the Wind
blows and The Lakehouse?
@Karen no!! What!? I haven’t heard there were prequels!
Are they about the kids before he escaped with them?
@Jade they’re not official prequels but they have almost all the same characters and tell about how the bird kids came about
and some other good info before the series.
@Karen omg I’m going to have to read them!! I’m excited. I really loved this series.
Did you ever watch the Brated movie they made? I didn’t take it seriously but I also didn’t completely hate it.
@Jade i did not, didn’t know there was a movie.
@Karen I believe it’s on Netflix right now 🙂
@Jade maybe I will check it out.
