Horror mainly. The real world is scary enough. I don’t read much crime or thrillers either. I also don’t read true crime, or those accounts of terrible childhoods that were popular a few years back.
I’d have to say graphic novel. Never sure what order to read them. But I try to read everything. I work at my local library and the greatest compliment I’ve ever been given was that I’m well rounded book wise.
Don’t understand why everyone puts romance, romance does not have to be cheesy. One Day is one of my favourite books, it’s a romance and far from cheesy. And even if a book is cheesy, sometimes it’s just nice to read something light.
I was going to say sci-fi, fantasy or romance as they are three that I don’t like as much as others. But then I decided I really do like a lot of all three. Then I decided, that I really do like all genres, but sometimes if I’m required/forced to read whatever it is, I’m probably not going to like it as much as if I had just picked it to read.
Science fiction, or more specifically, science fiction being disguised as historical fiction. The way I see it, time travel is NOT historical fiction. It isn’t historical fantasy. It’s SCIENCE FICTION. Alright, I’m finished.
Graphic novels
Religious fiction/non-fiction.
Clean romance.
@Corinne same.
Romance
no romance for me. the wedding date, the kiss quotient, etc. it’s ridiculous, treacly, repetitive, b.s.
Is Harlequin romance a genre? Lol!
Romance. Dystopian Young Adult.
Oh yea. Young Adult. Not a fan for the most part, but there are a few exceptions.
Romance of all kind, ghostwritten celebrity “auto”-biographies, murder mystery, action and true crime along with preachy books of whatever religion.
