What’s your best quote about reading?
This is my fav! I read all the Narnia’s as a child and then again as an adult. And it totally makes sense
“Never did she find anything so difficult as to keep herself from losing her temper when she was suddenly disturbed while absorbed in a book. People who are fond of books know the feeling of irritation which sweeps over them at such a moment. The temptation to be unreasonable and snappish is one not easy to manage.
“It makes me feel as if something had hit me,” Sara had told Ermengarde once in confidence. “And as if I want to hit back. I have to remember things quickly to keep from saying something ill-tempered.” ― Frances Hodgson Burnett, A Little Princess
“regret is such a pointless emotion”
“whatever you do, don’t lose hope”
“Reading Is FUNdamental”!
You can say that again
“Reading can seriously damage your ignorance”
Love, love this book.
From which book does that quote. Came from?
“A love of books is a love which requires neither justification, apology, nor defense.” -J.A. Langford
“You can never get a cup of tea large enough or a book long enough to suit me.” ― C.S. Lewis
“Don’t judge a book by it’s cover. “
This is from a song (sorry” but I had to share it: and I need you more than want you, and I want you for all time… ❤️❤️❤️
