I saw her soul leave her body as she exhaled, and then she had no more needs, no more reason; she was released from her body, and, being released, she continued her journey elsewhere, high in the firmament where soul matter gathers and plays out all the dreams and joys of which we temporal beings can barely conceive, all the things that are beyond our comprehension, but even so, are not beyond our attainment if we choose to attain them, and believe that we truly can. – The Art of Racing in the Rain

But, ah, my foes, and, oh, my friends, it gives a lovely light.” — Edna St. Vincent Millay who died at 58. “I took a deep breath and listened to the old brag of my heart — I am, I am, I am.” — Sylvia Plath. And, this one: “Not all those who wander are lost,” from Lord of the Rings by Tolkien. Want the poem? “All that is gold does not glitter, Not all those who wander are lost; The old that is strong does not whither, Deep roots are not reached by the frost.”
