Waking Up White by Debby Irving – This book is a very readable, accessible chronicle of one woman’s exploration of white privilege. We all need to understand how systemic racism developed throughout our US history and how we white people continue to benefit.
@Robyn She is writing a new one in the Kushiel legacy. It is the story of Phaedra and Joscelin, but told from the point of view of Joscelin. No release date as of yet.
Pretty much any book about Grattitude or being Grateful/ Joyful, people don’t get mad or complain as much if they are Grateful first….also I’d suggest reading entire news articles and not just the catchy headline before jumping to conclusions / forming opinions without the background
Unafraid: A Novel of the Possible by JEFF Golden. The premise is that Kennedy doesn’t die in Dallas, but the scare/injury totally changes how he approaches both his life and Presidency. I wish all politicians had to read it.

Calling In The One. Super cheesy title for a great book about figuring out what you want in a relationship/life and why your choices might not be leading you there. Completely reordered my thinking about a life partner.
@Konnie it was. I’ve read it 2 or 3 times. Right up there with our shameful history and treatment of the Chinese, Irish , Japanese, blacks. Hispanics…well every one of color and most of the poor.
The Promise of Stardust by @Priscille is a really good read. It makes you think about how grated we take life and how important it is to let our wishes be known!
