A Walk In The Woods by Bill Bryson
Carl Haaisen, especially the novels featuring at some point, Skink. Haaisen showcases the comedic absurdity of Florida politics and policies with over-the-top characters and plot. I find it laugh-out-loud funny at times, while I am silently chuckling on the inside for the rest of the time. He is a reread go-to when I am really stressed and/or busy at work and don’t want to read something I won’t appreciate, if that makes sense…
@Mary Skinny Dip is one of my absolute faves ?

I think I’m one of the only people in the world who does not find her funny. I hated that book and felt she was just rude and crude.
