I’m looking for a funny book next. I want laugh out loud funny, but not a comedian biography.

Try The Brocksport Series by Janice Earnest. It’s roll-in-the-floor funny!
@Sandy I tried finding her on Kindle and nook. How old are the books?
A year maybe? Try Amazon. That’s where I get my books.
Rest assured, I’d like an alternative, but it is what it is
and tons of authors, good authors, have discontinued less profitable venues
It’s YA, but the Georgia Nicolson series is amazing! The books are written by Louise Rennison

So far, “Crazy Rich Asians” by Kevin Kwan has me loling

Why Mummy drinks is funny.
The Stephane Plum series by Janet Evanovich

I loved Let’s Pretend This Never Happened by Jenny Lawson. It’s a memoir, but she’s not a comedian really.
I’m listening to this now and I keep finding myself laughing hysterically!
Her second book is honestly just as funny
My husband is currently reading This Is Going To Hurt by Adam Kay and keeps laughing out loud, so may be worth a try (am going to read it when he’s finished). Also as someone mentioned above, the 100 Year Old Man. Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy is a classic!
It depends on your sense of humour!

Terry Pratchett. Anything by him. Recommend ‘Good Omens’ but any Discworld novel will do. You got about 42 to choose from. Also, Christopher Moore.
Essays by David Sadaris are always funny. I’d recommend When You Are Engulfed in Flames.
Early David Sedaris books are laugh out loud hilarious. I strongly recommend them. My Talk Pretty One Day is a good one but most of them are great.

All of Spike Milligan’s war memoirs ?
I just read A Walk in the Woods by Bill Bryson and it had me laughing out loud.
Anything very PG about A Walk in the Woods? I’m wondering about using it with my teen lit group next year.
I think he usually swears? Perhaps try Common Sense media reviews
@Agatha I don’t remember any swearing. There were some colorful words, but it is researched so well. More importantly, his love for nature and especially our country really comes through. It made me think about how majestic our mountains are, but also how fragile. I loved it.
Hope never dies.
