The book is by Amy tan and it’s about 4 Chinese women and their American born adult daughters. Each daughter is struggling in a different way, and the mothers talk about their relationships with their own mothers and how that influenced their daughters. It is so good. SO good!

I’m with you, not my typical genre, but I loved it. Only read it because it was suggested by a friend. You should check out the movie if you get a chance, they did an excellent job and Matt Damon really sells it

The Green Mile
Got to be honest, when I first saw this movie is confused me (but I was pretty young then). Now, I find it interesting.
The Martian… Book was awesome as all hell and I felt they did a pretty damn good job on the movie

@Michelle, I looked how tall they looked, and how the sets were just how I pictured them. And, they were fairly close to the books. ?

It was the only one of Nicholas sparks that made me cry happy tears. And it has an amazing twist.
