I have a Fire for videos and reading inside and a Paperwhite for traveling light and reading outside.

No; I have my very original Kindle, a paperwhite, and my 8″ HD Fire. I really should have bought a 10″ HD Fire on Prime day.
I have one paperwhite and can’t really imagine why I’d need another one. But if you use them and enjoy them, it’s not too much.
4 fires and 3 nooks. No shame from me. Although only 2 nooks are full and I just bought 3 fires from Amazon Prime day in July (HUGE savings- 3 for $79.99)

Not at all. I have the Paperwhite and Fire,as well as the app in my phone, computer and iPad. This way I always have something to read along with my paperback and hardbound books.

I didn’t need the new oasis but it is worth it. I love it….especially the larger screen and scrolling buttons.

Why don’t you just have one and buy a bunch of different kindle covers? I don’t see the need for more then one. I have just one but to be fair I’m not much of an ereader.
