emmmabooks, adashofash, and jessethereader are my go tos
Books with Emily fox and she also has a great beauty channel, also chapterstacks.
Oh my gosh, the Canadian, dark-haired Emily Fox? No way! I’ve been subscribed to her beauty channel for years!!! O:
Note they don’t feature YA but I’ve found so many great reads from both of them and they are interesting to me.
@Kaitlin yes! She is awesome! Trust me, straight to book reviews no mucking around. She has recommended so many books that I’ve loved.
I’m so exciteddd :3 Thank you.
If you are a fan of her it’s interesting watching her book videos ?I’m addicted and if you find any similar to her let me know. I find all the big booktubers copy cats and too sponsored ? ?♀️ like abooktopia, peruseproject and on the novelty has worn off. However I like Jess the reader he is so positive and goofy. I also like insanereader for his hilarious review on zenith lol. And Julia sapphire. She mainly focuses on YA with mental health issues and poem books and genres I wouldn’t normally go for.
ThoughtsOnTomes is one of my favorites.
Usually what I do to find new booktubers is to search for like “May Reading Wrap Up” (ordered by upload date or else you’ll get popular May wrap ups from like 4 years ago…) Then I just got through and see which ones I like. ??♀️
Thoughts on tomes is my favorite. I also really like katesbookdate, emmmabooks, and Rogan Shannon
Hardback Hoarder, Book Roast, Peruse Project, Katytastic, Jessethereader, Polandbananasbooks
Emmmabooks, jessethereader, and readbetweenthewine
Haileyinbookland, readbyzoe and emmmabooks for sure
I guess I’m the only one who’s not a fan of EmmmaBooks. ??
to each their own my dude. can i ask why?
@Melissa she reads a lot of contemporary and most of the fantasy that she reads is urban fantasy. I’m more into epic fantasy.
There has also been some controversy about her recommending books that she hadn’t yet actually read. Then once she had read it, she saw problems with it and had to backpedal. It makes her untrustworthy as a reviewer in my eyes. You can’t recommend a book because you’re getting paid to do so. And then once you actually read it, take it back.
I can see that. I’m not really into contemporary at all and I prefer high fantasy or epic fantasy as well. 🙂 I’m kind of new to her channel and booktube in general so i didnt know about all that. But yeah that would definitely make me question her reviews.
@Melissa I still subscribe to her (I have been for years.), but I don’t watch all of her videos.
I like haileyinbookland!
BooksAndLala is my fave and she’s Canadian!
