Omg I’m so pissed off!!! I was feeling sorry for Nick but just got to the part that Yes he has a mistress…for quite awhile…why the f_€#k do people stay around in a marriage if they are not happy… he’s a dick. Okay okay I’ve not read the whole book yet. Just got to that part that made me mad. Just needed to vent. Sorry
@Howard I really liked Nick’s twin, Nick’s mom and the detective. Funny, I liked Nick’s lawyer. How often you do say you like a lawyer portrayed in a book?
I hate that book because it has no nice characters in it (well maybe the sister is alright but she is not in it enough) and none of the characters get their comeuppance!
I agree that they all suck, but Nick was a murder suspect and put through the ringer for weeks because of his scorned wife. That’s comeuppance if I’ve ever seen it.
Loved this and was surprised that my husband also did. It makes me laugh, though, because it’s one of those books that people seem to either love or hate. Good fun! If I were an author, that would make me feel that I was a success. 🙂
I actually really liked the book, some people are just shitty. I kind of like when there’s not a real protagonist, gets ya thinking. That’s how all 3 of her books are written though. No black & white. I did like Margo and Nick’s lawyer though.
Dnf. Stopped about half way through. Didn’t like the characters, and guessed what happened Amy. And it was too long. Over hyped. Preferred Sharp Objects, that was haunting.

There are no redeemable characters in that book.
Thanks Howard I’m thinking that as I’m going on.
It’s like watching a car crash, you can’t look away. That’s one crazy book
Yes. Unfortunately I’m glued to it
@Howard I agree
Rollercoaster of a read! Takes the old saying “two sides to every story” to the demented level.

Hated it too. So flat.
My book club all liked that book and had so much fun discussing the despicable characters. We really tried to find some redeeming qualities, but alas…
I agree Kaye I needed to vent just like your book club group lol. But I will never like him..But still not sure of Amy.. thank you for your post
Keep going! I was very satisfied with the ending. Nick gets what he deserves.
Ugh, this book was a giant waste of time, in my opinion. Hateful characters, and a crap ending.
Hated the entire book, will never read another by the author.
Loved every moment of that book

I loved to hate it,,, hehehe !!
Omg I’m at Seven days gone and I want to skip ahead. The suspense of all your posts and wanting to read faster is killing me ??
