Pretty Girls and Behind her eyes were my fave thrillers this year! I also enjoyed Good Daughter, also by Karin Slaughter, The Breakdown, Midnight at the Bright Ideas Bookstore, and Tana French’s books.
I was considering The Good Daughter. The premise hadn’t sold me, but I loved Pretty Girls so figured it is worth a shot too

Stephen booth
Anything by John Lescroart
Detached by Wendy Weiss
Ruth Ware “a dark dark wood” and her other book is great (I think she’s just got three and I haven’t read the Lying Game and can’t remember the other title)
Ooh! One of the best mysteries I ever read was Murder On The Orient Express by Agatha Christie. Now, the beginning might irritate you a bit coz its slightly confusing, but its totally worth it to continue reading. Its so unpredictable. I’m usually pretty good at figuring out who the murderer is, but I don’t mind admitting this book had me stumped till the very end. It was amazing! Read it.
“You” and then the sequel “Hidden Bodies”. Really liked those!!
Allan Poe s short stories ^^
Dean Koontz
