I hated this book, with so much passion. But, I couldn’t put it down. I had to know what happened, and I was furious with the ending. The movie is the best book to movie adaptation I’ve ever seen. Even though I hated the book, it was worth the read because it still made me feel something. :).
Me too. Didn’t like ‘girl on a train’ either. Get so frustrated that some of these books get to be best sellers just because they get pushed so much! Then books just get bought because people are sheep!!
Personally, I really loved the book but hated the ending. That said, the more I thought about it, the more I realized it really couldn’t have ended any other way. Definitely worth the read, but be prepared for a fit of rage at the conclusion.
Yes, if you haven’t seen the movie. Gillian Flynn wrote the screenplay, so it follows the book very well. If you’ve seen the movie you’ve pretty much read the book. Sharp Objects and Dark Places were also good.
I thought it was good! Not my favorite though. And DONT watch the movie; it was slow and boring. I suggest her other book Dark Places and Sharp Objects
YASS
Yes!
I really enjoyed it the ended was insane. I also read sharp objects by her
Yeah Ending is very Confusing
I couldn’t put it down x

Loved all of her books!!
If you’ve seen the movie, absolutely! If not, still yes. ????

Absolutely! All her books are good!!!
I loved gone girl. The movie is good too very true to the book.
I loved all of Gillian Flynn’s books
Yes!
I just finished dark places which was my favourite of all her books, but gone girl is good too!
Yes!
The ending sucked, the rest was good. Was very disappointed in the ending.
The film was disturbing but the cast were good. Not sure about the book
Absolutely!!! I found the first but of the book a little hard to get into but after that…..hooked!!!!
Not really…I did not like it much
I thought it was great!
I really enjoyed it.
Yes!!!
YES!!!
I kept waiting for it to get good. I think I’m the only one though. Lol

I kept reading it, too. Hoping to figure out what the hype was all about. ?
Me too. My sister gave me the book like “you NEED to read this.” ?
Me too. Didn’t like ‘girl on a train’ either. Get so frustrated that some of these books get to be best sellers just because they get pushed so much! Then books just get bought because people are sheep!!
Was not a favorite. I found it regrettably forgettable.
YES!!
Omg yes! It’s twisted
Totally worth it!
HELL YES. IT’S CREEPY AF AND WEIRD BUT AMAZING. YOU SHOULD ALSO WATCH THE MOVIE.
Personally, I really loved the book but hated the ending. That said, the more I thought about it, the more I realized it really couldn’t have ended any other way. Definitely worth the read, but be prepared for a fit of rage at the conclusion.
Of course. Just grab it right now.
yes

I liked it way more than the movie. That said, if you’ve already seen the movie, the book will certainly be less dramatic.
I absolutely loved that book!!!!
YAAASSSSSSSS
I haven’t read it but some girl said that my fiancé and I were like the couple in the book. I’m pretty sure that was an insult but she said it wasn’t.
I wouldn’t take that as a compliment either. That is not a healthy relationship.
@Colleen I knew it! She liked to say off hand things. We have a strong supportive relationship but I think she had a crush on my fiancé.
Definitely not a compliment. ?
@Kelly Yeah she’s an ass
For sure!
TBH, I preferred the movie over the book. The book did not move fast enough and I did not finish it.
Same here, I usually don’t watch the movie until I’ve read the book. But after several attempts to get through the book I caved and watched the movie.
YES
Yes! And all other Gillian Flynn books as well.
Yes
Not my fav liked movie more than book which is unusual for me
Thanks everybody I hope it will be a wonderful read ?☺?
Yes
Yesss! It’s not necessarily fast-paced, but it’s worth the read!
No. Did not like it. Seriously overrated.
Definitely!
It was twisty, I like twisty. 🙂
I loved it, personally.
Good, but not her best story. Read “Dark Places.”
I thought it was good! Not my favorite though. And DONT watch the movie; it was slow and boring. I suggest her other book Dark Places and Sharp Objects
Yes!!! One of my favs!!!
Not really, it’s okay but I thought Girl On The Train was better
Yes! I liked Sharp Objects even more. Dark Places is good as well.
YES!
I enjoyed it!!!
I figured out the “twist” pretty early and found all the characters to be pretty annoying. There are better suspense novels.
Great book!
I did not like it. It was too predictable, and I was bored with it halfway through.
I’ve heard really great things about it! I’m always wondering the same thing lol
I really liked it
I liked it. But to be honest it felt quite slow
i liked dark places more- less hype and more intriguing storyline!
YASS READ ALL HER STUFFS
I just liked it but not LOVE it
yes
I personally preferred her other books (Sharp Objects, and Dark Places) to Gone Girl
Even if you don’t end up liking Gone Girl, give her other books a chance. They’re great.
Kind of slow for me..The movie is twice annoying..✌✌✌..
I didn’t care for the movie
I enjoyed the book, but I didn’t care for the movie.
Thanks ☺
