Realm of the Elderlings by Robin Hobb
Stormlight Archives by Brandon Sanderson
Codex of Alera by Jim Butcher
Magic Study books by Maria V Snyder
Start with mistborn not stormlight
I nearly put Mistborn but stormlight is better ?
Yeah but mistborn happens before stormlight in the era
Would be like reading liveships before meeting fitz
@Aidan not at all the same thing!! Mistborn and Stormlight can be read as completely separate things it’s only once you get into cosmere that reading order between sets becomes relevant if we are really getting into it Warbreaker comes first!
no mistborn has to be read first or you won’t understand the letters from hoid to Harmony
And warbreaker isn’t first, warbreaker is between Oathbringer and the previous book
@Aidan
That’s a shit reading order! You’d misunderstand so much
This one is better imo
@Aidan so very opinionated ?? thank you for your input lively debate is always welcome.
The seven Realms series by Cinda Williams Chima has a very similar feel and undertone to the Throne of Glass books! I also found some similarities between Celaena and Raisa, the two main protagonists. If you like Throne of Glass, I think you would enjoy it!
thanks
Check out ” The Wheel Of Time” series
Author, Robert Jordan and finished by Brandon Sanderson.
It truly is the best series i’ve ever read, close second “Sword Of Truth”
Author, Terry Goodkind. Enjoy!!
The Farseer Trilogy
The Moontide Quartet
Farseer is the first trilogy in the realm of Elderlings
I know lol ^^
Carved book one of the Cerofan series. Paper back is out and ebook is released on the 9th. ?
Any of Brandon Sanderson’s books are fantastic! The Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan is really good and so is A Tale of Malazan Book of the Fallen by Steven Erikson. The last two are fairly long series but they’re both REALLY great reads!
The Moontide Quartet by David Hair.
The Sunsurge Quartet by David Hair.
The First Law series by Joe Abercrombie.
The Powder Mage Trilogy by Brian McClellan.
The Unhewn Thrown by Brian Stavely.
The Shadow Campaigns by Django Wexler.
These are all fantastic fantasy reads. Warning, they are adult reads. Joe Abercrombie in particular has some rather brutal scenes (there’s a merciless, graphic torture scene in Best Served Cold). Every one of these books contains references to sexual violence (or actual sexual violence) and harsh language.
I know it’s old but the Prydain series by Lloyd Alexander is great!
