I haven’t read any Sarah J Maas books yet. Which series should I start with, Throne of Glass or the Court ones? Are they based in the same “universe”?

They are different universes.
Court series
For tog the first 2 books are kinda slow its after the third book that the series picks up but its worth it
Court series!
Court!! I loved that little series. I’m starting Throne of Glass right now and I’m struggling ?
Me too! I just can’t get into it.
@Sammantha me either!!! I cant get in to any of the characters either, and I find the main character kind of obnoxious lol
@Ashley she’s such a pretty brat!!?? I’ve stopped reading it already lol
@Sammantha she is!! I love the court series so I feel like I have to give these a fair shot. I do kind of like the captain though, he’s somewhat interesting.
Ok thanks. I’m just working through the 6 of Crows series. This group has been awesome for new ideas but now I have so many new good books to read! And I love a good series
Court
I personally started with Throne of Glass so I would suggest that one. Though I could see the perks of starting with Court of Thorns and Roses.
I started with the TOG series then Court, but I love love love them both!!!
If say TOG and then ACOTAR. I loved TOG but I read ACOTAR and it trumped TOG. Don’t get me wrong, TOG is still one of my favorite series ever but ACOTAR is everything!
I read the Court series first & I’m on book 3 of ToG.. I wish I had read ToG first just because I keep comparing them so much ??♀️ But the Court series is all I think about. Ever. It’s amazing ❤️
Like fantasy more? ToG. Prefer romance as more of the focus? ACOTAR. To me, that’s the primary difference.
Id say throne of glass it gives you a good insight to sarahs writing style then when you read acotar its so much better
Court!!!
